Custom Switchplates

If you have a special paint color, photograph, wallpaper sample or particular picture, we can customize almost any kind of plate. We can also create custom plates from our website with color modifications, etc. to suit your needs. If you have a particular plate size which we don't "stock", you may just send us a plate that you would like for us to use, and we will apply your choice of design to the plate. Please be careful when submitting your request for a custom plate design because custom orders are non-returnable. However, custom orders are exchangeable should you not be pleased with your plate. Please allow a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks (4 weeks for some configurations) after we have received your artwork or color chip.

How to Place a Custom Order:

(1) We need your artwork/photograph and/or color request:
* Send us any picture or email us any graphic (preferably 8 1/2" x 11" or smaller), and we will size it appropriately. We may need to graphically enhance the image if the design does not appropriately fit the plate. Please note that some pictures will not work well for a quadruple plate while others may work perfectly. The longer the width of the picture, the better the plate will work for a double, triple or quadruple. Pictures that are taller with less width work better for single and doubles. We will return your original artwork/design with your completed plate.

* If you want us to match a particular paint color, please either send us a "chip" from the paint or email us with exact color name/number (we accept current paint color names from Benjamin Moore, Duron and Sherwin Williams). We can also match many of the Ralph Lauren colors, but we are unable to match the "finishes" of the the textured and metallic paints.

* Please be aware that every plate is handcrafted with a special durable finish. Although every effort is made to match a paint swatch or design as closely as possible, we cannot guarantee an exact match because our finish may deflect the light differently than the wall or original design. In most cases, we find that a slight variance is very appealing and adds beauty to the light switch plate.

(2) Provide us with the type (ex. single switch, jumbo single switch, double outlet, etc.) of the plate you would like for us to cover (choose from any of our stock sizes). Should you desire another special plate or size, you will need to provide us (by mail) that plate to cover.

(3) Please let us know any additional information you can about your image that we would need to create your plate (for example, let us know if you want us to accent a particular background color, etc.) We'll do our best to make the plate to your "taste".
